    Heat Shrink Tubing for Bus Bar 11-52 KV

    The 3M heat shrinkable tubing of Bus Bar series is designed for Insulating round and rectangular bus bar rated from 11 kV to 52 kV.

    The tube is made of a special formulated cross linked polyolefin. The tubing is of orange colour .The material has high resistance to splitting, good solvent resistance and excellent tracking resistance properties. The tubing shrinks easily with industry standard methods, forming an aesthetically appealing insulation cover.

    APPLICATION

    • For 11, 22, 33 and 52 kV voltage ratings.

    Glass Cloth Tape

    3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 69 with Silicone Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive

    3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 69 is a white glass cloth tape with a high- temperature thermosetting silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is designed for use in 600-volt dry location applications motors, and transformers with and without varnish coating. Key attributes like high mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures provide excellent performance. The thermosetting adhesive provides an increased bond once applied in areas of high ambient temperatures. The thermosetting adhesive provides elevated temperature performance up to Class N 392°F (200° C) temperature rating.

    This tape provides insulation and solvent-resistant protection for use as coil cover, anchor, banding and core, layer and crossover insulation. This tape features a non- corrosive adhesive. It is conformable, printable and flame retardant.

    Kastex Cable Joints

    3M / M-Seal Kastex Cable Joints and Terminations for LV are based on a cast resin system. The casting resin is polyurethane based which has complete compatibility with cable components. The cast resin system provides the electrical insulation, mechanical protection, moisture imperviousness to the joint. These joints are designed for compression connection, mechanical connectors, or soldering of cable conductors.
    The Terminations are also Designed for easy installation and have a crutch sealing arrangement for ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION of the core trifurcation. The sealing arrangement is also based on a cast resin system.

The tubes are watertight, have adhesive on their inner surface and their technical features equate the insulation and sheath of the cable. The tubes are mechanically strong and UV-resistant. They are of cross-linked polyolefin and are non-corrosive.

    Scotch 2228

    Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 is a conformable self–fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape. Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 consists of an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing coated with an aggressive, temperature–stable mastic adhesive. The tape is made 65 mils (1,65 mm) thick for quick application build–up. It is designed for electrical insulating and moisture sealing applications. Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 can be used on copper or aluminum conductors rated at 90°C, with an emergency overload rating of 130°C. It offers excellent resistance to moisture and ultraviolet exposure and is intended for both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications.

    All-Voltage Splicing Tape

    ScotchTM 23 Electrical Tape is a highly conformable self-fusing EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) based, high voltage splicing tape. It is a non-vulcanising, shelf-stable tape with excellent electrical properties. 23 Tape can be used as an insulation for low-voltage applications as well as an insulation for splices up to 69kV.
